In French, you don’t really say “I miss you.” You say “tu me manques,” which is closer to “you are missing from me.”
I love that. “You are missing from me.” You are a part of me, you are essential to my being. You are like a limb, or an organ, or blood. I cannot function without you.

Texted you. To tell you I missed you. But that would be taking steps backward right. Everyday I feel like I’m lying to myself. I’m happy, that’s true. But it’s never been this hard to let go. Ever. I don’t know how to feel about that. I want to move on but…I almost texted you to tell you how much I really miss you. Almost.
exactly how i felt a couple of months ago, in time things get better…
